Farm Tours
Looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience?
Our tours offer more than just a glimpse at life on the farm – they offer a chance to connect with our animals in a meaningful way. Our commitment to animal welfare means that our animals are treated with love and care, and we take pride in sharing their stories with our guests. As a result, they are incredibly friendly and love nothing more than interacting with our guests.
On our farm tour, you’ll get to witness firsthand the bond that our animals have with us. Imagine brushing the soft, thick fur of a majestic highland cow or taking a charming pygmy goat for a walk like a faithful companion. You’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with our beloved farm animals, and as you stroll through our picturesque farm, you’ll also learn about the rich history of the land and our commitment to ethical and sustainable animal husbandry and land management practices.
Guests of Luna Lodge Tasmania have the option to join a farm tour when they book with us. This private tour is exclusively for our guests and must be booked in advance to secure your spot.
For those who aren’t guests of the lodge, we offer public tours at 10 am and 4 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. During the tour, you’ll get to:
- Meet and brush our two beautiful highland cows, Molly and Valentina
- Take a walk with our tribe of adorable pygmy goats
- Feed our pygmy goats and free-range chickens
- Learn about the rich history of our farm and our commitment to sustainable land management practices
- Snap plenty of photos with our animals and around our stunning farm – it’s a photographers dream!
